In the materials handling sector, safety is often discussed in terms of systems, compliance, and operational efficiency. At FTC Safety Solutions, however, safety has always carried a more human dimension – one that places genuine care for people at the centre of every solution.
That same ethos is now reaching beyond the workplace in a deeply personal and meaningful way.
A commitment that goes further
The company’s Managing Director, Jason Griffin, not only regularly donates to the charity but has also recently funded the development of their website Beldi Dog Rescue, helping to build a platform that raises awareness and support for abandoned and vulnerable dogs. Jason also helps with rescue missions to France when dogs need collection away from desperate situations.
Yet the contribution did not stop there.
In an extraordinary act of compassion, the MD has personally adopted 19 dogs from the rescue – offering them not only shelter, but stability, care, and a future they would not otherwise have had.
A shared philosophy of protection
Within the materials handling environment, the focus at FTC Safety Solutions has always been clear – protect those who are most vulnerable. Pedestrians working alongside heavy machinery rely on well-designed safety systems to ensure they can move confidently and securely through busy operational spaces.
This principle – safeguarding those at risk – is mirrored in the support shown to rescue dogs. Both reflect a proactive approach to care, where responsibility is not simply acknowledged, but actively embraced.
More than a business
What this story illustrates is something deeper than corporate responsibility. It demonstrates a culture where values are lived, not just stated.
Whether it is developing solutions that reduce risk in industrial environments or giving abandoned animals a second chance, the underlying principle remains the same – protection, care, and a commitment to doing what is right.
In both settings, the impact is profound. Lives are made safer. Futures are improved. And trust is built through meaningful action.
A lasting impact
The adoption of 19 dogs is not simply a generous gesture – it is a reflection of a mindset that sees responsibility as extending beyond the expected.
At FTC Safety Solutions, safety has always been about people. Now, it is clear that the same care extends even further – to those without a voice, but no less deserving of protection.
It is a powerful reminder that true commitment to safety does not end at the workplace door.
Supporting the cause
While individual actions can transform lives, the ongoing work of Beldi Dog Rescue relies on continued support. Donations, no matter the size, help provide food, medical care, shelter, and rehabilitation for dogs still waiting for a second chance. For those able to contribute, offering support is a meaningful way to extend this impact – helping ensure that many more animals can be rescued, cared for, and ultimately find safe and loving homes.
